"Een goede motivatie en onderling vertrouwen bij de medewerkers zorgt ervoor dat ook de klanten tevreden zijn en blijven"

In 1982 the Board of Audax initiated the Audax Social Fund, aiming to support employees in financial trouble.

This support may consist of:
• Material support, such as a donation or a loan of money.
• Taking over a debt, including arrangement with employee about repayment.
• Consulting with financial institutions, companies or the bailiff about possible arrangement on repayment.
• Advice on budget mentoring, social work, etc.

In priciple, the financial problems or other extraordinary condition the applicant is in must have an external cause.

Employees may call on the Audax Social Fund if:

  • The employees have debts, and have nowhere else to go for help. During an intake the Audax Social Fund will question the employee about his financial situation. If the Audax Social Fund decides to support the employee, arrangements will be made with the employee about payment to the creditors and repayment of the loan. The Audax Social Fund may also decide to offer the employee some form of budget mentoring in order to avoid future problems.
  • The employee faces very high costs, due to illness of himself or one of the members of his family or due to a calamity, that he can (almost) not afford to pay. The Audax Social Fund will take into consideration whether, if these costs pertain to the employee himself, this will improve his performance on the workfloor or is just a private situation. If this will improve the performance of the employee on the workfloor, the Social Fund will refer the employee to the Personnel & Organisation Department (P&O) of the relevant subsidiary company or consult with the person from P&O who will be the employee’s contact.

During a meeting the Board will decide whether an application will be granted or not. The employee will in all cases be informed in writing.
